Clean the recording in four steps

  1. Add your footage. Start with a spoken recording you have permission to edit.
  2. Find the cleanup. Analyze silences, filler words and bad takes in the recording.
  3. Review the choices. Listen around cuts, keep deliberate pauses and restore anything you want in the final edit.
  4. Export your next step. Create a finished video, or use a paid desktop timeline export to continue editing.

Can I keep an intentional pause?

Yes. Review the suggested edits and restore the parts you want to keep.

Do I need Premiere?

What is included for free?

Does silence removal also remove background noise?

Shortening pauses changes the timing of your video. Reducing background noise changes the sound. Treat them as separate editing decisions.
