Sign in and recover account access

Use the right sign-in method, reset an email password and diagnose a missing reset link or account mismatch.

Use the same sign-in method and account you used before. If a paid plan or project is missing after sign-in, check the account before creating another subscription.

Sign in with Google or YouTube

Gling sign-in page with Connect your YouTube, Connect with Google, an email field and Continue with email.
The live sign-in page, checked 20 October 2026. Choose the method associated with your existing account.

Open the full-size screenshot.

  1. Open Gling sign-in.
  2. Choose Connect with Google, or the YouTube option if that is how you normally access Gling.
  3. When Google shows an account chooser, select the account you previously used with Gling.
  4. Complete the sign-in and return to the original Gling tab or desktop app.

If you cancel Google's sign-in window, return to Gling and start again when ready. A Gling email-password reset does not change your Google account's password.

Sign in with an email and password

  1. On Gling sign-in, enter your account email and choose Continue with email.
  2. If the account has a password, enter it on the Sign in screen.
  3. Use Change email if you entered the wrong address.

If Gling takes you to account creation instead, check the address and whether you previously used Google or YouTube. Do not assume that creating a new account will restore an existing project's or subscription's ownership.

Reset an email-account password

  1. Continue with your email until you reach the password screen.
  2. Choose Forgot password.
  3. Check that email account for a password-reset link, including spam or junk folders.
  4. Open the link, complete the password-reset instructions and return to Gling to sign in.

The confirmation says that a link will arrive if an account uses that email. It does not prove that the address has a Gling password account or that delivery has completed.

If sign-in still fails

For a Google or YouTube account, try the original provider option. If a link is expired or already used, request a fresh one and use the most recent message. If Gling reports too many attempts, stop repeated requests and try again later. For a disabled-account message, contact support.

Send support the email you are trying to use, the sign-in method, web or desktop, application version and exact error text. Never send a password, verification code or password-reset link. If you can sign in but the account shows Free, use Paid account showing the Free plan.

If a verification email does not arrive

  1. Confirm the account email shown in Gling. It may differ from the email used on another device or on a receipt.
  2. At the Please verify your email to continue message, choose Resend verification email.
  3. Check that mailbox and its spam folder. If Gling reports that it could not send, wait as instructed and try again.
  4. Open the newest verification link in a normal browser, return to Gling and retry the blocked action.

A receipt arriving does not prove that verification messages are being delivered. If the message still does not arrive, contact support with the account email, the time of the resend and the exact error. Do not forward a private verification link, and do not create another paid subscription to work around delivery.
